El Paseo Mexican Restaurant in Azle

The only reason they even get 1 star is so I can leave this review. We're not fans of El Paseo but decide to give it another chance. We ordered queso which took forever to come. We ordered nachos to share and they NEVER came. Our server Austen never came back to check on us meanwhile the table of 5 is getting their food. (They came in a good 20 min after us) He then had the audacity to tell us that "don't worry, I took the nachos off your bill". Haha, really? Gee thanks since we never got them. Last chance, epic fail.

Fajitas are amazing. Service is amazingly fast. Very tasty . Also the hot sauce will make you burst with enjoyment. Servers are nice and it's really clean.

Food is pretty mediocre, kinda cool atmosphere though. Bartender hooks it up everytime. Mixed review lol

Ordered through Door Dash. Was excited about a good meal from El Paseo. However did not realize the meal was being filled by the restaurant in Azle. The taco salad did not come with the shell bowl. The lettus was wet ,the meat was cold ,overall the worst salad ever The tamale dinner was stone cold and was not on par with the El Paseo in Samson Park. One Star for the Azle El Paseo.

Been hearing a lot of good reviews on El Paseo, so wanted to try it out. It did not disappoint. Great enchiladas, tamales and a pina colada. Will be back!!

Service was great, got in right before Sunday lunch rush hour. Food wasn't bad at all. I had the cheese enchiladas. I liked the chips but someone else at my table didn't care for them. There was also some complaining about the fajita meat being dried out. I'd go back, but not sure anyone would go with me. :)

Extremely clean, appears to be great management here and just good solid Tex-Mex groceries!

The last time I went here it was 2 friends and I. One of them asked for another salsa so she literally reach over and grabbed mine cause I wasn’t using it fast and gives it to my friend. That is unacceptable. That is not how you do service and I will NOT ever be back there and I tell everybody I know not to go back there. I did not know this lady. I bypass the place and go down the street to Villa Del Sol and the food tastes much better also

On point service and amazing food.

As much as we have always been supporters of El Paseo, this is the 2nd time we have gotten a pick up order trying to support our local businesses and for the 2nd time, the order was wrong and there was more chunks of pepper and onion than meet. Its unfortunate that the service for pick up orders cant be better than this. Guess no more pick up orders for us from El Paseo. I tried to call and speak with a manager to see how to fix our issues and was just placed on hold for a lengthy amount of time. Feeling like we wasted our money AGAIN

Had my husband's bday and everyone was so nice. We had 12 people and had to sit at 2 tables, which I hated but CDC rules, we were in a section by ourselves and that worked fantastic

I was there during corona virus, but the food was absolutely amazing, there wasnt a huge wait, and the service was good. The only thing holding it back from a 5 star is that my mom is allergic to gluten and dairy, and they messed up the order at first. They fixed it within less than 5 minutes though, and the experience was overall pretty great.

Got a chimichanga . It was super awesome. Service was excellent. The beans were fantastic. You should eat here if you get the chance.

The food was excellent and affordable $$. The wait time for the food was extremely fast!

Me and the family have been eating here for more than 15 years and will always come back. Best tex mex I've had by far. We usually try to get to a new spot a week to stay diverse but these guys are top of our list. Normally eat here twice a week for different meetings and occasions.

I've been to quite a few Mexican restaurants and must say this was one of the best!

While in Azle, TX picking up a new Jet Ski from Big Boys Toyz, we stopped and had dinner here. Outstanding Service and even better food! We highly recommend!

Food is always fresh and delicious! And always filling!

I don't get the appeal of this restaurant. We've been 3 times and been disappointed each time. Smoking is allowed inside, yes restricted to the bar, but the smell permeates thru the rest of the dining area, so by the time we left, we reeked of smoke. It's super loud inside, even when not full (late lunch weekday). Our food was cold every time and we had to send it back to be warmed up...yes, all 3 times. Chips/salsa was great and with a cold beer, one could be pleasantly filled, but we were bummed that our entree's weren't good. We keep searching for a good Mexi place in Azle, but have yet to find anything that believes in serving hot meals with a good flavor.

Had a cheese enchilada with queso and it was really good!! The chips have a seasoning on them and it was ok. Not a fan of the salsa though.

Quite nice restaurant. Food is good but not special, rather typical Mexican-American menu. I do recommend it, as it seems a place I will go again because it's convenient and good, just not because I found anything special that will make me seek it out.

I like El Paseo's food that's why I come back here. My issue is the service. You pretty much need to flag down the bartender or wait staff to get your order, or just chips? The wait staff or bartender seems to show more attention to regulars that come here. Please recognize and appreciate the people that do not come every single day.

First time here. Went in with about 45 min until they closed (i know, bad move) but we had our chips and salsa, and meal and were out in 35 minutes. Fast service, the food was absolutely delicious, (chimichanga dinner was amazing and I recommend it) and the staff was very friendly. I will most definitely be going back!

I honestly have NOTHING bad to say about El Paseos! I have been coming to this restaurant for 25 years. The food is phenomenal and the service is fantastic! (There have only been a couple of times that we have had cruddy service.) Pancho is hands down our favorite waiter, we love him!!! This place is amazing, don't miss out!
